the 15 Junio, 2010: el Cuerpo Consular visitó el Congreso de los Diputados y el Senado de España, i nvitado por el Senador (y ex-Alcalde) por Zaragoza, J osé Atarés Martínez quien nos acompañó en todo momento.
Rosa Plantagenet, Secretaria General del Partido Popular en Aragón was kind enough to personally coordinate the visit turned out to be very interesting for all members of our institution.
Luisa Fernanda Rudi (ex-President of the Congress of Deputies) taught us the House, and Juan José Lucas Giménez (Vice-Chairman of the Senate of Spain ), the upper house, always accompanied by our good friend, Pepe Atarés completing relevant explanations and specifically to the astronomical clock Alberto Billeter, or on the various original English constitutions.
In this Blog we want to thank the care received, the interest taken with careful explanations and answers to our many questions.
A also highlight the impressive library iron Senate built by Bernardo Asins , and large boxes Francisco Pradilla (The surrender of Granada), of J oseph Moreno Carbonero (Input from Roger de Flor in Constantinople); of Joaquín Sorolla (The Oath of the Constitution by Her Majesty the Queen Regent Dona Maria), and contemporary Miro, Tapies, Viola, Juan Gris, Broto and others.
A magnificent lunch at the new Senate, always with good company Atarés Pepe, Rosa Plantagenet and her husband, José Luis Calvo and Consuls of Slovakia, El Salvador, Germany, France, Côte d'Ivoire, Ecuador and Romania ended a very interesting visit.
