On day 2 February 2010, the Executive Councillor Development and Tourism, Elena Baro Allué called members of the Consular Corps of Aragon a meeting in the City of Zaragoza, connection with the preparation of the events of the week Europe 2010.

The meeting took place in the "dining room" the City Council Zaragoza and developed in an atmosphere of cordiality. Besides being the subject of the meeting itself, Europe Week 2010, used the occasion to lay the groundwork for a future framework agreement and the formalization of a regular meetings between the City of Zaragoza and Aragon's Consular Corps.

Jesús Blanco made a presentation on Global Zaragoza, highlighting its objectives and actions under 2010 to project the image abroad of Zaragoza. Such actions include presentations projected Frankfurt (May), Brussels (June) Bergamo (September) and Santiago de Chile (November).

Likewise, Ms. Alderman Allué highlighted the active participation of Zaragoza in relation to Cities Network Central , whose Permanent Secretariat holds our city.
